Bob’s Whiskey
Sip, sip, sippin' on Heaven's Door
In 2018, Bob Dylan introduced a branded whiskey line named Heaven’s Door, in collaboration with liquor entrepreneur Marc Bushala.
The initial launch was comprised of 3 releases: Tennessee Bourbon, Double Barrel, and Straight Rye, with the bottles decorated to be reminiscent of Bob’s metal sculpture works. Subsequent releases have included a Bootleg Series of special releases featuring ceramic bottles decorated with Bob’s oil and watercolor paintings.
Visit the Heaven’s Door website for everything about Bob’s award-winning line of whiskey! Pour yourself a glass and sip along to some of these lyrical whiskey references in Bob’s songs down the years!

Might like to drink whiskey, might like to drink milk
You might like to eat caviar, you might like to eat bread
You may be sleeping on the floor, sleeping in a king-sized bed

Don’t need a shot of whiskey, help me be president
-Bob Dylan, Shot of Love, 1981
There’s a woman by the river
With some fine young handsome man
He’s dressed up like a squire
Bootlegged whiskey in his hand

I’ve been a moonshiner,
For seventeen long years,
I’ve spent all my money,
On whiskey and beer,
I go to some hollow,
And sit at my still
And if whiskey dont kill me,
Then I dont know what will
– Moonshiner, trad. arranged by BD, released 1991 Bootleg Series Vol. 1-3
“They say whisk’ll kill you, but I don’t think it will…”
–Bob Dylan, Nettie Moore, 2006
