Welcome, Bob Dylan Fans! 

Welcome to The Bob Dylan Fan Club, the only fan club started at Bob’s request. We met with him, not accidentally, in St. Paul, Minnesota, before the last show of the U.S. Summer Tour in 2005. Please read our Origin Story for the fuller account of how The Bob Dylan Fan Club came to be! 

The Bob Dylan Fan Club became a thing in 2006 at a time when there were already so many things happening about Bob. Here we endeavor to provide a space that emphasizes elements that Bob expressed as important when we got that chance to meet him – live performance, fan participation in that live performance, his sound, and a place to share what we love about Bob. We do this at shows when Bob is on tour; virtually here in our Meet Other Fans page; as well as in our very active Facebook group.  

Our most recent website update has introduced a few new interactive features as ways of preserving Bob’s legacy for and with his fans. Check out Bob Dylan Live and For The Love Of Bob, where we ask you to share some of the most revelatory moments you’ve had during Bob’s live performances; if you want to delve deeper into sharing your fandom, spend some time answering more questions and reading others’ responses in Meet Other Fans. 

Our Facebook group is the best real-time place for members of The Bob Dylan Fan Club to interact and share the latest, so join there if you haven’t already! We hope that this site can serve as a place to more lastingly enshrine fans’ thoughts about, experiences with, and love for Bob Dylan and what he does. We’ll see what it brings!
